The Mojo 6- One month out
Tuesday, March 16, 2010 05:30 PM | 0 Comments
We are one month out from The Mojo 6 and have some great announcements to share. First, the votes are in and Beatriz Recari will be joining us in the 16th position of the tournament to compete for $1 million prize. Also, to further share the excitement of The Mojo 6 and engage everyone watching, today we are launching the Pick Your Way To $10,000 Sweepstakes. Here is how it works, you pick and rank in order who you think will be the top four players out of the 16 competitors. Submit your picks here. Remember you are only ranking your picks for the top 4 – not all 16 players. All the correct answers will be entered for a drawing to win $10,000. And, if you entered but didn’t select the right order, your name will be put in a drawing for a trip to Jamaica. Go online and submit your picks. You can enter once between today and April 13. Winners will be selected immediately after the tournament and announced on CBS.

It’s hard to believe, but in less than two months, I will be home in Jamaica cheering on the amazing group of golfers that will compete in the inaugural Mojo 6 Tournament. We just announced the 15 elite women golfers, and we’re excited to have six of the top-seven female golfers in Rolex World Golf Rankings committed— Cristie Kerr, Anna Nordqvist, Suzann Pettersen, Jiyai Shin, Paula Creamer and Yani Tseng. They will be joined on the course by fellow LPGA players Amanda Blumenhurst, Na Yeon Choi, Christina Kim, Brittany Lang, Brittany Lincicome, Kristy McPherson, Morgan Pressel and Angela Stanford, as well as 15-year-old golfing phenom, Mariah Stackhouse, compared by many familiar with the game to being the “next Tiger Woods.” The 16th position is still open; and you get to decide who gets the spot, voting ends March 14th. This is just one of the ways that we are planning to put golf back in the hands of the fans. Be sure to visit www.themojo6.com daily to vote your favorite player onto the island between now and March 14th.
The Mojo 6 Surprise Invitation
Thursday, February 11, 2010 10:30 AM | 0 Comments
I can’t believe we are already a month into the New Year and less than three months from The Mojo 6 Tournament in Jamaica, my home country. Since the holidays, we have been busy getting ready for the tournament and traveling, what seems like, nonstop. Most recently, we went to Atlanta, to surprise teen golf phenom, Mariah Stackhouse, described by many familiar with the game as being the “next Tiger Woods,” with an invitation to compete against the world’s best female golfers in The Mojo 6. At just 15 years old, Mariah already has an impressive amateur career as she won the 2007 Atlanta Junior Golf Grand Champion and the 2007 Georgia State Golf Association (GSGA) Girls Championship. Equally impressive though, is her stellar performance in the classroom where she’s a straight A student – despite how busy she stays on the golf course. When we launched Mojo, we wanted to create a platform to inspire people to reach for their dreams, and help others do the same. Inviting Mariah to join The Mojo 6 is certainly part of that mission, and we can’t wait to see her play Raceway Golf. I will continue to post updates, in the meantime, visit http://www.mojomarketingandmedia.com/events/the-mojo-6-in-jamaica or www.themojo6.com to watch the video of the surprise invitation.
The Mojo 6 and Raceway Golf

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend. We’ve been really busy at Mojo over the past several months and I am thrilled to tell you that Mojo has developed an innovative new golf game, Raceway Golf, which, as a golfer, I can tell you will appeal to golf purists, to those new to the game and to those that may be looking for something a little edgier. Even more exciting, we are working with the LPGA, and some of the most well-known LPGA players have agreed to compete against each other in the first internationally sanctioned play of this new format at the upcoming The Mojo 6 Tournament in Jamaica. And as with all Mojo endveavors, The Mojo 6 Tournament will include a charitable component front-and-center. To bring it to the widest possible audience, The Mojo 6 will be broadcast on CBS with a lot of extra elements that will make it the perfect two-part program for the entire family to watch and enjoy together while learning about ways to get moving and get involved. So stay tuned! In the meantime, visit http://www.mojomarketingandmedia.com/events/the-mojo-6-in-jamaica to learn more about Raceway Golf and The Mojo 6.
