Get Moving, Get Involved

Welcome to my blog which I've named, "Get Moving, Get Involved," as it underscores my firm desire to create awareness of certain basic issues that affect our lives so we can make informed decisions regarding such issues.  In order to help people get involved, we first need to educate people and make them aware of critical issues relating to charities so all can make intelligent decisions.  And by helping people make informed decisions about charities and specific ways to help, we can and will succeed in making a difference in the lives of others.  For those of you who don't know me, I am very passionate about charity work and philanthropic issues, and strive in all that I do to affect change for the greater good.  In fact, this focus is a hallmark of both my companies, Stephenson, Acquisto & Colman (SAC) and Mojo Marketing & Media.  As many of you are already aware, there is currently an ever-growing demand for charitable services, but at the same time, many charities are being forced to close their doors.  In fact, philanthropy experts say charities face one of the most daunting fiscal environments in recent memory and predict that more than 100,000 nonprofit groups nationwide will fail in the next two years.  That said, I hope through my blog to help others in need - by drawing attention to that increased need and by creating awareness of specific groups and charities, and perhaps more importantly, by showing people clear and easy ways they too can get involved to help others . . . so together, let's 'get moving and get involved.'
