Joy Stephenson-Laws

Ms. Laws is the co-founder and president of Mojo Marketing & Media, the first and only entertainment company whose mission is to create socially-responsible marketing vehicles that raise awareness for charities, and co-creator of The Mojo 6, an innovative and new golf entertainment experience with a strong charitable component. In addition to her day-to-day leadership role with Mojo projects, Ms. Laws is also the founding and managing partner of Stephenson, Acquisto & Colman (SAC), the healthcare industry’s premier litigation law firm established in 1989. SAC specializes in the successful representation of all major California hospitals including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Stanford University Hospital, UCLA Medical Center & UC Irvine Medical Center. Ms. Stephenson has devoted her entire 25 year legal career to addressing public benefit issues with special emphasis on healthcare. She currently leads a team of approximately 100 staff members at SAC. Ms. Laws received her B.A. from Loma Linda University in 1980 and Juris Doctor from Loyola University in 1983 and was admitted to the California Bar in 1984.  Professional Organizations include the American Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, California State Bar Association, U.S. District Court-Central/Eastern, and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. .
